Trident Solicitors was set up by Carl Codd, who qualified as a Criminal Defence Solicitor in 2002. Many years of working as a Criminal Defence Solicitor along with a period as a Prosecutor with the Crown Prosecution Service, has given Carl a great wealth of experience, from both sides of the justice process. 
 
As a result, he became an expert at analysing road traffic offences from all angles and identifying weaknesses in the Prosecution case. In 2012, Trident Solicitors was founded as a means of providing East Yorkshire motorists with expert advice and legal representation for all manner of motoring offence cases.  
 
Carl is joined by his wife Joanne, who has over twenty years of experience working in the Magistrates Court dealing with case progression issues. Working together and with a professional support network, they bring a wealth of knowledge and specialist expertise to motorists across the region.

We offer a free initial consultation that enables us to gather the information we require and provide an indication of our fees. If you decide to instruct us further, we will carry out a full review of the prosecution evidence, organise representation at court if suitable, and manage all of the relevant administrative duties and documentation.  
 
We’re able to keep our fees competitively low thanks to minimal overheads. Rather than being based in large and expensive offices, we’ve embraced remote working and deliver all of our services from our home office.  
 
Consultations and meetings are carried out over the telephone or via video conferencing software, making our service highly convenient for our clients as well as cost-effective. If required, we can also meet you at the court building prior to your hearing, as well as represent you in court when the time comes.
