If you have been disqualified from driving by order of the Court and you either:
- apply for a driving licence, or
- drive a motor vehicle on a road or other public place

If convicted of the offence of driving whilst disqualified, then the Court has the power to impose up to 6 months imprisonment and they must either endorse 6 penalty points on your licence or impose a further period of disqualification.
